In A Nutshell
1 Less is More GE LEDs are getting  brighter and the prices  are getting  lower. New Power White has been released. 89% more light 66 Lumens/Watt at nearly 1/2 the price. More Bang for your Buck.

2. GE Vios Lift Off Because LEDs are impervious to vibration they are a perfect solution for lighting liftcars. Alya LED Downlights are equivalent to standard 20W halogen downlights, using only 16% of the energy

3. Thinking beyond the Square. Customers are adapting GE signage products into general illuminations. LEDs love the cold,  One smart retailer used PowerGrid LEDs to light his Coolroom.

4. Coves are MAXED Tetra MAX is proving very effective in Cove Lighting and Wall washing. We have added more showcases to our website of these efficient LEDs providing stunning highlighting.

1. Less is More - The New Power White is the first LED system to use the Nichia MultiDie Chip, resulting in the best and brightest 1 Watt LED system in the business. We can use less and light more. Perfect for Cove Lighting and Skysigns. The colour rendition is better than the previous chips. Shopfitters are using the product to illuminate under-shelf applications giving lots of sparkle to the products, without the heat and hassle of fluorescent Lighting.

2. LED Lift lighting - handles the rock n roll
Facilities Managers are particularly interested in having reliable maintenance free lighting in public areas. Traditional lighting struggles with the vibrations experienced in elevators. LEDs are solid state technology so their useful life is not affected by vibrations.  6 x Alya Series  Warm White VIO LED downlights were installed and trialled in a lift car in one of Australia's greenest buildings.

These Downlights provide excellent colour rendition (85CRI) whilst also complying with the lift code lighting standards. The building are now proceeding to install the Alya LED downlights into all the passenger lift cars in the building to minimise energy and maintenance costs

The case study and power savings payback are in this report

3. Thinking outside the Square
GE Tetra PowerGrid LED tiles have been a huge success in lightboxes and architectural lighting especially in Bars and lightwalls as they emitt very little heat into the environment and help retailers achieve that tough
BCA2008 maximum lighting density requirement (25Watts/sqm for retail areas)

PowerGrid was used as a brilliant application for lighting this coolroom

1. LEDs love the cold and turn on instantly to full brightness. They can therefore connected to movement detector switches and will turn on straight away - unlike fluorescents that struggle in the cold and need to be left on.
2. They were installed flush with the ceiling adding to precious ceiling height space, maximising storage and minimising obstructions.
3. They can handle a bit of rough treatment (unlike fluorescent lighting)

4. Cove Lighting with LEDs
There are literally kilometres of coves being lit with inefficient flourescent lighting throughout shopping centres and commercial buildings. GE Tetra systems are amongst the most energy efficient in the world. They are all cable based and allow continuous even energy efficient lighting  to any shape of cove . Our new Power White is the perfect solution if you need  your cove  bright and consumes only 7.7 Watts per metre. GE Tetra MAX is proving very effective in Cove Lighting and wall washing using only 4Watts per metre.
